Our school ethos is to create a safe, caring, happy and stimulating learning environment where everyone feels valued and included in our school family. Our school motto 'We can... We will!' highlights our drive to aim for personal excellence in all we do!

Our committed staff provide an environment where individual needs are met to enable all our children to achieve their full potential and equip them with life skills necessary to prepare them for their future... And for them to leave each day with a smile on their face!

Safeguarding is the responsibility of every person working with young people and children. At Stanton Primary School we are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all of our children. This role includes ensuring our children are safe from abuse and neglect (physical, emotional and sexual) and are free from bullying.

We give our children the skills to keep safe at home and at school. We provide our children with the skills to challenge gender stereotypes, recognise and build healthy relationships and recognise that domestic violence is never acceptable.

As part of our curriculum enrichment, we invite visitors in to school to talk to support our safeguarding aims. Some examples of these visitors are the Police, who discuss Stranger Danger and Road Safety, the Fire Service, who give annual fire safety talks and the NSPCC who provide their PANTS workshops.

Online safety is always at the forefront of teaching and learning as part of our Computing curriculum and a large part of the annual Anti-bullying week. Our children learn the skills to keep safe online and to deal with any incidents of cyber bullying.
